Hello, my name is Faiyaz. Today, let’s talk about how to get started with WordPress.
The first step is to choose a domain name. Decide what domain you want, for example .com or .in. You can purchase it from GoDaddy or any other domain provider.
After that, you need to buy hosting. Once you have hosting, go to Google and search for cPanel. When the cPanel login page appears, you will need a username and password. These details are provided by your hosting provider and are usually sent to your email. Just copy them from your email and log in to cPanel.
Inside cPanel, you will find many options. Scroll down and you will see WordPress. Click on it to open the installation page. Before installing WordPress, fill in the required details like username, site information, and password. Once that is done, install WordPress.
After installation, open a new browser tab and type your domain name like this:
yourdomain.com/wp-admin
For example: faiyazglobal.com/wp-admin
This will take you to the WordPress dashboard. From here, you can start creating pages like Home, About, Contact, and Services.
Next, go to the Plugins section and install a plugin for forms (such as a contact form). After installing, set up a blank form where visitors can enter their details like name, phone number, and email. When someone fills it out, you will receive a notification with their information, and you can contact them directly.
Apart from forms, there are many other plugins and elements that you can install. But before that, set up your homepage properly. Go to Appearance → Menus and create your site menus such as header menu and footer menu. After that, upload a theme of your choice (free or paid).
Once the theme is set, you can go back to plugins and install an editor plugin like Elementor. Free versions have some limits, while paid versions give full access.
Now, open your homepage again. You will see an Edit with Elementor (or similar editor) option. Click it to open the page editor. Here, you can add and customize elements like animations, text, images, and more to design your homepage the way you like.
